Fire Prevention Week 2010! Check out the theme and helpful resources here!
Fire Prevention Week
The NFPA has announced the theme for Fire Prevention Week 2010 and once again, smoke alarms are the focus! Since having a working smoke alarm in your home cuts your chances of dying in a home fire by 50%, that is probably a good thing. Check out the website at www.firepreventionweek.org.

September Meeting – Cowboys Stadium in Arlington!
The September 16th meeting of the Metroplex Fire Safety Educators Association will be a meeting you won’t want to miss! The meeting will include a tour of the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. It will be interesting to see how one of the world’s most cutting-edge structures is protected from fire. Additionally, we hope to gain some information about some of the planning for crowd control, etc. that is underway for the Super Bowl. We are limiting attendance at this meeting only to paid members. If you are available and interested in attending but are not currently a paid member, please submit your form and dues as soon as possible. Note—the Arlington FD personnel conducting the tour asked that all MFSEA members wear their work uniforms the day of the tour.
