The Public Educator
of the Year Award:
Current members of the Metroplex Fire Safety
Educators Association are eligible for participation
in the Public Educator of the Year Award.
Established in 2006, with the first Award presented
in 2007 (for work completed in 2006 and 2007), this
bi-annual Award is a way of saying thank you to
members for providing outstanding service in safety
education. The Fire Educator who receives this Award
will have been chosen based on the activities listed
on his/her application. All applications are to be
submitted by the Fire Educator’s supervisor. A panel
of 5 judges will review the applications and a
winner chosen based on their results. Applications
are mailed to all members’ supervisors and can also
be found on the website.
