Home -> About Us

Metroplex Fire Safety Educators Association (MFSEA) was formed in 1985 and became formally organized in January 1986.  Its purpose is to promote fire and life safety through the sharing of concepts and program information by fire and life safety educators throughout the Metroplex and State of Texas.  MFSEA provides a forum for the exchange of ideas among educators and those charged with the responsibility of presenting safety programs.  Experts are also brought in to provide members with professional development in specialized areas.

The term Metroplex is used to designate the area of inception of MFSEA.  Membership is open to any organization in the State of Texas, meeting the specifications in our By-Laws as listed under Article III, Sections 1 and 2.
